Arcadia Art Consultancy is a full-service firm that provides appraisal reports, art advisory, and collection management services to private and corporate collectors across the United States. Uniquely positioned within the realms art, finance, and the law, our firm can handle the most complex art matters for our high net worth clients. As an independent third party, we have no obligations to any dealer, gallery, or auction house. Our clients are our first, and only priority.

Our Team

Kaitlyn H. McElwee, ISA

Kaitlyn McElwee is a seasoned appraiser and advisor with extensive knowledge of the primary and secondary art markets. Having worked in prestigious galleries, auction houses, and museums, Kaitlyn is uniquely positioned to help her clients understand and navigate the murky waters of the art world.

Kaitlyn received her bachelor's degree in Art History from Davidson College and her master's degree in Art History, Fine Art Administration from Temple University. Her ongoing area of interest is the intersection of art and finance, specifically as it relates to the canonization of contemporary artists. In her spare time, Kaitlyn works to help support young and emerging artists through curated art exhibitions and market guidance.

Kenneth L. McElwee, Attorney-at-Law

Kenneth McElwee is both an appraiser and an attorney with over thirty years of experience. He received his bachelor's degree from Wooster College and his Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University. As general counsel, Kenneth is particularly sensitive to the use of appraisals for legal purposes and ensures that our reports can withstand rigorous IRS audits and judicial scrutiny.
