Our Team

Kaitlyn McElwee

Kaitlyn H. McElwee, ISA

Kaitlyn McElwee is a seasoned appraiser and advisor with extensive knowledge of the primary and secondary art markets. Having worked in prestigious galleries, auction houses, and museums, Kaitlyn is uniquely positioned to help her clients understand and navigate the murky waters of the art world. Kaitlyn has previously appraised major private collections, artist’s estates, and museum collections.

Her ongoing area of interest is the intersection of art and finance, specifically as it relates to the canonization of contemporary artists. Kaitlyn uses this information to help support young and emerging artists through curated art exhibitions and market guidance.

In her spare time, Kaitlyn can be found either at the Mint Museum planning the annual juried art show or volunteering with any number of local animal rescue organizations.
